Through the years Master Choa Kok Sui stressed on the importance and the innate power of various mantras. While there is no generally accepted definition of mantra, a mantra in general is a sound or sequence of words which have a religious, magical or spiritual purpose. The use, structure, function, importance, and types of mantras vary according to the school and tradition. Mantras exist in various traditions across the world including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. In Japanese Shingon tradition, the word Shingon means mantra. Similar hymns, chants, compositions and concepts are found in other major world religions including Zoroastrianism, Taoism, Christianity, Islam and elsewhere.
